Which splashback format should I go for?

Large format (60×120 or 80×180) is on trend because it reduces the joints, which makes care simpler. Small-format zellige remains a great classic for its handcrafted character. It all depends on the overall style of the kitchen.

Can a worktop be made of ceramic tiles?

Yes, with 6 mm technical slabs reinforced with resin. They are highly resistant to stains and heat: you can set a pan straight down on them. Epoxy grout is required in wet areas.

Premium kitchen tiles.

The modern kitchen combines a hard-wearing floor, an easy-care splashback and sometimes a ceramic worktop. Amarchy offers stone- or marble-effect tiles to clad splashbacks and islands, and technical porcelain for busy floors.

What matters in a kitchen.

In a kitchen, tiles work everywhere: on the floor, walked on all day; on the splashback, where they take the splashes; sometimes on the worktop, where a hot pan is set down. Each surface has its demands, and the material is chosen accordingly.

We draw the laying plan alongside the kitchen design: stone- or marble-effect tiles clad the splashback and the island alike. And if the kitchen comes from our Skhirat workshop, the tiles, the splashback and the worktop go into the same quote.
